# The Future of Factories: Private 5G with Mobile Cloud Industry 4.0 Automation

The advent of Industry 4.0 has ushered in a new era of manufacturing and warehousing, characterized by interconnectedness, automation, and data-driven decision-making. At the heart of this revolution lies the critical need for robust, reliable connectivity that can support the seamless operation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), as well as drones and AI-driven video control systems.

Wired connections and conventional Wi-Fi networks often struggle to keep up with the demands of modern, mobile autonomous systems due to their limitations in coverage, bandwidth, latency and scalability.  The integration of private 5G networks and enterprise mobile cloud technology into existing infrastructure represents a pivotal step towards achieving unprecedented levels of operational efficiency, security, and reliability.

Highway 9 and Semtech experts explore how private 5G networks and mobile cloud technology can power the next generation of manufacturing and warehousing processes, while seamlessly integrating with existing IT infrastructure and equipment.

Our panel of experts delve into:

- The industry 4.0 new challenges, focusing on six use cases ranging from legacy systems to AMRs/AGVs and drones
- How Private 5G and Mobile Cloud technologies can address these challenges based on real-life examples and demo
